Drone-Hacks supports many of the most popular DJI models of hardware, with new models and later firmware always being added when possible, you can check our supported models by going over to our Available Hacks , however this guide is about the requirements to run the hacking software rather than the drones.
Drone-Hacks' desktop based application is strictly for Windows PC's running on physical hardware only. We do not support Windows on ARM.
We do not have any minimum hardware requirements, however we only support Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Drone-Hacks needs full unrestricted access to your USB ports to communicate with the drone, so for this reason we also do not support running Drone-Hacks in any kind of windows virtualisation software (such as Virtualbox) . Even where direct USB pass-through is supported by the software, this virtualisation software often introduces delays in USB communication which will break our software.
We also currently have no support for any Linux or Mac operating system
DH Companion is our Android only based application for enabling FCC on drones where this isn't possible to permanently enable using DH Desktop.
Whilst it does not have any strict “system requirements” in terms of specs, we do recommend a relatively modern Android based device.
The app is not and never will be available on Apple iOS as it would not be allowed to be listed in the App Store.
