From time to time, we may release further firmware updates to the Mod Box, these may add support for new features, models or firmware versions.
Updating the app is done via the Drone-Hacks V2 desktop app for Windows only at this time.
ΒΆ Update Procedure
- Connect a USB-C cable from your PC to the USB-C connector on the left side of the case
- Run the Drone-Hacks application.
- Select Mod Box from the main menu
4. If your Mod Box is on an older version, you will see that a new version is available, simply press the Install button to begin the update. You can see any relevant release notes right in the app.
5. The box will be pushed its new firmware update, this process should take less than 10 seconds
6. Complete! Your box is now running the latest firmware version.
You are also able to roll back your firmware to an older version if you wish.
Note that we may sometimes prevent rollback to specefic versions, but this will only be done in extreme cases where we find an issue with older firmware versions or for compatability reasons.
